words of obligation sewn in the air,
and the flower doesn’t care.
Rain falls from the sky while the desert remains dry,
in the pocket you found an expired dream,
in the old pictures it’s not you wearing your face.
One more time the absence of words opens the doors,
not knowing how to breathe keeps you alive,
but the cement letters are too heavy to carry around,
and all you are isn’t you,
but the consequence of the depth that you’ll never know.
