Refunds and Returns

This agreement is between you (the buyer) and me (Davide Canepa), the artist responsible of the gallery davidecanepa.art, by purchasing the work of art you agree with the policy.

I put a lot of care into writing detailed descriptions, aiming to leave no questions unanswered. However, if you change your mind, my refund and returns policy lasts 14 days from the day you receive the artwork. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, I cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the artwork must be not damaged and in the same condition that you received it. You are responsible for covering the cost of the return, pick a trusted shipping service offering tracking info, and send the package to the return address I will provide you in my instruction. The artwork must be returned in its original packaging with all its documents. In case of a return (not damage caused by the courier) I will refund the amount you paid with the deduction of the delivery fee to your address.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Once I have received the package and approved your request, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Please also remember that I can’t take responsibility if the returned package gets lost in transit back to my location.

I am serious about safeguarding your unique piece of art during its journey to your door. My packaging is specifically made and tested to keep everything secure. If the package happens to arrive to your address damaged by the courier please send me an email with pictures of the issue as well as all other sides of the package, please do not open it and wait for my instructions.

Artworks created specifically on request cannot be refunded.

The price of the artworks includes taxes and shipping to your address. You are responsible for paying any additional import duties and any applicable local taxes once the shipment has arrived at the specified destination.

What you see on my website might look slightly different from what you receive. My artworks are created with high-quality materials. I do my best to display photos that faithfully reproduce the original piece of art, technology and display settings can play tricks on the colours, and I can’t guarantee your screen will display an exact match to the actual work of art.

Please keep in mind that my artworks are created entirely by hands, the signs of brush strokes, irregular surfaces and stains of paint on the back are what distinguishes, make original and recognisable the piece. Each artwork available on my web page and exhibited in public is unique and has passed very specific quality criteria.
