Long time ago the king of the western land wanted to have full control over his subjects, so he called to court all the ministers to plan a new strategy.

After many days no one managed to provide the king some good solutions, as the atmosphere was heavy he decided to call the court jester so that he could be entertained for a while.

The jester came in with fresh approach and while keeping the head down asked the king: “what can I do to serve Your Highness?”
With bored voice the king answered: “here we have a problem, I want to fully control all the subjects in the kingdom but I still don’t know how. Sing something, or tell me a story to make me feel better.”
The smart fool rapidly understood the situation: “I see, Your Highness. May I suggest a game?”
With the head hanging on one side and the eyes almost closed the sovereign lazily moved the right hand as a sign to carry on.

“When His Highness wants to win a game He just has to play with His rules. When His Highness wants to dominate His people He makes sure to be present everywhere and that the subjects will be happy to serve Him until death. People have to know that this is the only game and the victory of the King is for their sake.”

Suddenly the king went back on his position and exclaimed: “Your shrewdness gave me the answer! From today you will be in charge of the ministers.”
