They were told to be all equal, and it was true as all of them were sharing the same corral, some with better collars than others but still drinking the same poor quality water and fighting for the food provided by the shepherd.
With the new moon they realized that outside there was enough food, space and clean water for everyone.
The next day they finally managed to break the rusty fences all together and ran to the free land.
From that day they didn’t need the shepherd anymore.
